Focusing on the absurdity of the celebrity status, the solace we seek in being voyeurs and the ways in which we seek calm. Disillusioned by desires of adoration, the idea of the celebrity is idolised. A social model fabricated from fundamental and unavoidable human needs of adoration.

Reflecting on ideas of social labour and speculation; we see Kim Kardashian post sex tape and pre Kanye, trying to establish herself as a global being. ‘Celebrities exist to act out various styles of living and viewing society. They embody the inaccessible result of social labour by dramatising its by-products’ [Guy Debord, The Spectacle of the Society].

This is the video that was displayed on the monitor during the show. The music from this video was played at full volume throughout.

A valentines card for all the lovers out there wishing they were more like Kim & Kanye. This included a micro-site to send around social channels so people could print the card themselves.
